Re: relationship game. It’s easy to really slide into bad habits. Most weekends are a reminder that there’s a reason I am Captain and she is First Mate and I better make damn clear I own that position. The Wife tried coming up with some date ideas, one of which is to do some psych homework.
When I mentioned this sounded like absolutely no fun at all, and would therefore not be something we would do, she was hurt, and said that she doesn’t understand, because it’s not supposed to be fun, it’s supposed to build an emotional bond.
Girls don’t think right.
The Wife was an excellent shopping companion this week, though. Came up with lots of good recipes going through the aisles, though she recommended lobster for dinner. No sweetie, we are not having lobster for dinner.
She also did not like my sloppy joe recipe. I love my sloppy joe recipe :(
