No argument. And it follows that if you spend zero time on anything related to women, then you don’t value it. But the part that doesn’t make sense is then complaining about what you don’t have that you apparently don’t value. You can’t have it both ways. You can’t put in zero effort, and simultaneously bitch about not having a girlfriend or any dates, sex, or whatever.
But let’s ignore that. Do you actually realize what you’re talking about? You’re basically asking him to remove himself from his social circle, to pretty much cut contact with his friends. After all, it’s common for men to base their social circle on shared hobbies and activities.
There is a way to find balance. One can keep the hobby and social circle and carve out some other time for meeting and interacting with women potentially.
Well, duh. Shouldn’t that be the whole point of marriage? You close one chapter of your life, because you have new responsibilities and roles. If one has to keep wooing his wife with banter and flirting, what was the point in getting married, really?
You misunderstood. I still actually engage in banter with my wife…it is fun for both of us, and I do some flirty stuff from time to time but with less frequency than we first dated. But I was actually referring to other women. I wouldn’t be able to engage in banter and flirt with a random woman today as effectively as say 8-9 years ago because I haven’t routinely kept it up. My point is single guys should be regularly engaging in and practicing the skill set when they can.
