meh, made my peace with that in my mid thirtie (over a decade ago). It was a choice to go MGTOW even before I knew of the term, I guess I didn’t feel that badly for my DNA molecules, or not enough to make that absolute gamble with my life anyway.
Why not? Well, beyond the absolute gamble of marriage and what the kids turn out like in this society, because the medium term future of humanity (assuming we don’t end up going back to the caves – now that would be interesting if somewhat grim) is going to be filled with massively genetically modified beings amounting to near clones of a few stereotypes. Because once you get to manipulate the genes everyone wants their kids to be Alpha superbeings. So they all flip the same switches, swap out sections of their own genes for superior sections. You pick Prada-Boy, Prada-Girl, or Hermes or Coach or whatever because any other choice is producing what would be a gamma in that society.
