But while not every man can dramatically improve his emotional intelligence and social skills, almost every man has the (theoretical at least) option of finding a worthwhile goal in life and working toward pursuing it (which brings us back to the common, but universal wisdom passed on from generations). Even if his emotional intelligence and social skills are just average, the fact that he has something apart from and larger than himself that he focuses on and pursues in life will make him a better, stronger, and more attractive man, including to women.

This is the “build it and they will come” philosophy which IMO when applied to most women is sheer nonsense. I’m oversimplifying here a bit, but let’s separate what a man brings into “substance” and “presentation”. Think of 2 dinner meals. One dinner is served in a shithole of a place with mediocre service, but they bring you a 20 oz top notch filet mignon for $5. The other dinner is served in sheer elegance with waitstaff that constantly refill your water, and ask if you need anything with a beautiful view as you eat dinner. They bring you a plate with carrots and celery and tomatos in the most beautiful ornate display and charge you $100. Substance vs presentation.
