How you do with women has nothing to do with your intelligence, per se, but to do with your social intelligence, and if you don’t cultivate the latter, you’re g0ing to do poorly with women. That’s just how it is. Hating women because you are socially inept is very stupid, and not something any highly intelligent man should be doing (obviously shows some clear blind spots in his intellect, even “pure” intellect). If you’re emotionally disconnected, then you won’t be able to relate to women at all, really, because women think and experience life emotionally as a prime lens — even if they are super-smart. Just different wiring. Again, a smart man will read up on this, and understand it, and work with it.

I think each guy needs to figure out what he wants out of life and go for it. For most guys, that will involve being involved with a woman/women. If that is the case, then you need to be smart, and become emotionally and socially intelligent — any guy can do that, but it does take work. It’s about changing aspects of your persona so that you reflect better socially, and actually learning how to relate to other people.

But you have to know what you want. Although I have a GF with whom I am very close indeed, it wasn’t a situation I sought out after my divorce. I’m fairly certain I could have led a very satisfying “rest of my life” without being involved with a woman — I am introverted, have lots of interests and hobbies, and pretty much am never bored (I have the opposite issue of not having enough time to pursue them all as much as I would like, which has required pruning of some of them over the course of time). My sex drive is still there, but in my late 40s, it isn’t a burning issue like it was in my 20s. So, for me, I could have gone either way. I did learn some things from Game which I have used in my relationship with my GF, but she’s also an extreme outlier in many areas as well, so it isn’t a useful example for most other guys. She’s still a woman, and still needs the kind of emotional relating and so on that goes into a relationship, but she’s a highly rational thinker and someone who is capable of maintaining a high degree of separation between her emotional mind and her rational one — more than any woman I have ever met, frankly (but she’s a sciences PhD). So, I’m good with my current situation, but I also would not have undergone a complete life rebuild in my 40s — didn’t pencil for me, in terms of my level of contentment/discontentment, other interests and so on. My point is that each guy needs to figure out what he wants, and then do what he needs to do to get there, regardless of what he “feels” is just/right/correct, etc.”
